Homestead is the second oldest city in Miami-Dade, incorporated in 1913, and it has grown to about 80,700 people as of the 2020 census. The name comes from the Florida East Coast Railway extension, when supplies were consigned to Homestead Country. The city sits between two national parks, Biscayne to the east and Everglades to the west, about 26 miles southwest of Miami, with US-1, Florida's Turnpike and Krome Avenue as the main roads in and out.
Agriculture still defines a lot of Homestead. Nurseries and tropical fruit growers work the land around the city, and Fruit and Spice Park and Coral Castle draw visitors. Homestead Air Reserve Base is home to the 482nd Fighter Wing, with more than 1,700 personnel flying F-16s. Homestead-Miami Speedway opened in 1995 and hosts NASCAR's Championship Weekend in 2026. Yes. We make cut vinyl lettering and vehicle magnets with a standard production time of 3-5 business days, then ship them to Homestead by UPS or FedEx with application instructions.
Do you make leather patch hats?
