Common questions

What's the difference between die-cut and kiss-cut?

Die-cut decals are cut all the way through to the exact contour of your design — a single-piece decal with no background. Kiss-cut decals are cut through the vinyl only and stay on a backing sheet, handy for sets and easy peeling.

What do "weeding" and "masking" mean?

Weeding removes the excess vinyl around your design so only the artwork remains. Masking applies a layer of transfer tape over the top so the whole decal lifts and applies as one clean piece. Both are included when we install for you, and available as add-ons on DIY decals.

Do you install decals?

Yes — choose "Installed" in the studio above and our team applies your decal on site, weeding and masking included. Prefer DIY? Pick "No install" and we ship it ready to apply.
