South Miami is a small city with a real downtown. It covers about 2.3 square miles, had roughly 12,000 residents at the 2020 census, and was incorporated in 1927. The settlement goes back to the late 1890s, when Wilson Alexander Larkins opened a general store and post office, and the area was known as Larkins before residents picked the South Miami name in 1926. US-1 runs straight through town, Red Road forms the eastern edge along the University of Miami, and a Metrorail station sits at SW 72nd Street and US-1.

The SOMI Art Fest is the biggest printing moment on the South Miami calendar. Artists and food vendors lining Sunset Drive need signage that reads from across the street, and a retractable banner stand plus a few hundred UV laminated stickers is a common booth kit. Businesses along the route often hang banners that weekend to catch foot traffic. Since the festival is the same time every February, order early and we will fit it into the schedule.
The rest of the year looks like any walkable downtown. Restaurants and shops need aprons, window decals and seasonal banners. Families with kids at South Miami Senior High and nearby schools order spirit wear, fundraiser shirts and graduation yard signs. Offices along US-1 order embroidered polos and business cards. Everything is made in our Westlake shop and shipped to South Miami. If you are near the Metrorail station and prefer not to wait on shipping, pickup at our Westlake shop is always an option, though most South Miami customers simply have orders shipped.

Can you do small shirt orders for a South Miami shop?
Yes. DTF transfers have zero minimums and take 1-2 business days to produce. For 24 or more of one design, screen printing on our M&R Cobra press is the better value.
Do you embroider staff uniforms?
