Custom Printing for Greenacres, FL

Greenacres is turning 100. L.C. Swain started platting the original section in 1923, and the town incorporated as Greenacres City on May 24, 1926, before hurricanes in 1926 and 1928 knocked it back hard. It even gave up its charter in 1945, then voted to reincorporate in 1947. The name was shortened to just Greenacres in 1990, and the city has spent 2026 marking its centennial with a birthday bash, a Chili Cook-Off, the Sunday Sounds concert series and a close-out celebration.

The city had 43,990 residents at the 2020 census packed in at more than 7,300 people per square mile. It sits east of Wellington, next to Palm Springs and northwest of Atlantis, and the original town was laid out along Military Trail. Nearly 45 percent of residents are Hispanic or Latino, so bilingual shirts, signs and banners make a lot of sense for businesses serving the area.

Schools are a big part of local life. John I. Leonard High School on 10th Ave N, home of the Lancers in black and orange, was annexed into the city in 1994 and is one of the largest high schools in Palm Beach County. L.C. Swain Middle carries the founder's name, and Greenacres, Diamond View and Heritage elementary schools serve younger kids. Our Westlake shop is about 11 miles west, which makes Greenacres one of the closer cities we work with, and everything is produced in-house there.

Printing for Greenacres Schools, Parks and Centennial Events

The city's event calendar runs almost year round: Egg'stravaganza at Samuel J. Ferreri Community Park, the Daddy Daughter Dance, Ignite the Night on July 4th, a Trunk or Treat, and Holiday in the Park with its tree lighting, rides and vendors at the Community Center at 501 Swain Blvd. Freedom Park, almost 52 acres on Forest Hill Blvd right next to Okeeheelee Park, has pavilions that families rent for reunions and parties, which is where a quick batch of custom shirts earns its keep.

For schools and teams, the typical order is spirit wear, practice shirts and fan gear, with screen printing on our M&R Cobra automatic press for larger runs and DTF for small ones. Local businesses tend to need embroidered polos and hats, vinyl banners for sales and openings, and yard signs, which run 3-5 business days. If you are designing a centennial or reunion shirt yourself, our online gang sheet builder lets you lay out transfers from home.
