Few towns are named as honestly as this one. The Village of Golf grew up around the Country Club of Florida, which opened in 1956 on a former dairy farm that sits on a ridge among the highest ground in Palm Beach County. Founder Carleton Blunt and course architect Robert Bruce Harris laid it out, and the Florida Legislature incorporated the village on May 30, 1957, partly to keep Delray Beach and Boynton Beach from annexing it. Some early settlers came from Golf, Illinois, and the name stuck.
It is still a small, gated place. The 2020 census counted 255 residents on roughly 500 acres between Congress Avenue and Military Trail, with Boynton Beach wrapped around its east and south sides. Blunt served as mayor for 30 years, and the club hosted the Western Amateur in 1958.

Embroidery and Gifts for the Village of Golf
Golf is mostly homes and fairways, so orders here lean toward quality over quantity. A member-guest might need 40 embroidered polos and a stack of engraved prizes. A foursome heading out of town might want four matching hats with a leather patch. Embroidery is priced per piece with no hard minimum, and we digitize logos in-house, so a small order is as easy as a big one. For DTF printed shirts there is no minimum at all, and production is 1-2 business days.
The village also still has agricultural land, including a horse farm, which means working gear too: embroidered shirts, caps and signs. Neighbors just outside the gates along Military Trail and Congress Avenue in Boynton Beach run the landscaping, pool and service companies that keep the village going, and they order vehicle magnets, cut vinyl truck lettering and uniforms. What do you engrave for tournament prizes?
On our xTool F2 Ultra we engrave tumblers like YETI and Stanley, wood, slate, acrylic, coated metal and leather patches, including leather patch hats. Standard turnaround is 5-7 business days.
Can I pick up at your shop instead of shipping?
Yes. Our Westlake shop is about 20 miles from the Village of Golf and open for pickup Monday through Friday, 10am to 3pm. We can also ship by UPS or FedEx.
