Juno Beach is a small oceanfront town of about 3,900 people between Jupiter and North Palm Beach. It was platted in 1948, incorporated in 1953 and named for the Roman goddess Juno. US-1 runs along its west side and A1A follows the ocean. For a town its size it carries a lot of weight: it is home to the headquarters of Florida Power & Light, to Seminole Golf Club and to the Loggerhead Marinelife Center.
The beach here is one of the densest sea turtle nesting areas in the world. In 2023 the Loggerhead Marinelife Center recorded more than 15,600 loggerhead nests, over 9,100 green turtle nests and more than 200 leatherback nests.
