With 105,691 people at the 2020 census, it is the largest town in Florida by population, but downtown still keeps its Western Theme District, horses are a normal sight, and the Bergeron Rodeo Grounds host a pro rodeo every year. At the same time, Nova Southeastern University, Broward College's Central Campus, FAU's Davie campus, UF's Davie campus and McFatter Technical College all sit inside town limits, and I-595 meets I-75 on the west side.
