Planning your award order
- Start early in the season. Award dates do not move. Getting artwork and a name list to us a few weeks out leaves room for a proof round. Standard turnaround is 7 business days after you approve your proof. Rush is often available when timing is tight: call to confirm.
- Collect clean logos. Ask sponsors for vector logos (AI, EPS, PDF or SVG). A logo saved off a website rarely prints cleanly at award size.
- Send names in a spreadsheet. One column per field (name, class, placing, year) eliminates typos and speeds up the proof.
- Choose photos carefully. Use the original file from the photographer, not a screenshot or social media download.
- Approve a proof. We send a digital proof for every design so names and placements are right before we print.
Caring for printed awards
UV printed awards need very little care. Dust acrylic with a soft microfiber cloth, and skip paper towels and glass cleaners with ammonia, which can haze acrylic over time. Wood plaques do best away from direct sun through a window, which slowly changes the tone of natural wood. Awards that live in a barn office can be wiped down with a slightly damp cloth.
