EZCAD to SVG & xTool converter
Got a folder of .ezd files from an old fiber laser and a new
machine that can’t read them? Drop them here. You get clean .svg artwork back,
plus an .xcs job file for xTool machines with your old power, speed and frequency
translated across. Free, no account.
Matching average power means a 30 W machine at 35 % becomes a 60 W machine at 17.5 % — the same energy into the part. It is a starting point, not a guarantee: different laser types behave differently at the same numbers. Always test on scrap first.
Built by Arnold Prints because we had a shop
full of artwork stuck in EZCAD2 and nothing on the market would move it. Hatched fills come across as
outlines — your new software regenerates the fill, which is cleaner and far smaller. EZCAD live-text
objects are listed in _settings.txt rather than converted; the same wording is usually
already present as curves. Something not work? Tell us and send the file.
